The Saturn model brasero is made of corten steel, and the cooking plate is made of ground steel.

The design of the BRASERO Saturn S is bowl-shaped and stands on a base made of Corten steel.
The circular cooking plate (120cm ring) is made of 10 mm thick ground steel.
Steel is an excellent conductor and is suitable for all types of food: meat, grilled meat, fish, vegetables, fruit, etc.
By making a wood or charcoal fire in the centre of the brasero, the cooking plate heats from the centre outwards.
Cooking temperatures are higher the closer the food is to the inside and gradually decrease towards the outer edges, so that a variety of foods can be cooked at different temperatures at the same time.
The base of the Saturn brasero provides storage for the logs.

Corten steel is a steel that is resistant to high temperature variations and corrosion. Corten steel rusts on the surface and it is this first layer of corrosion that prevents further deterioration due to corrosion. Cleaning and maintenance :

Cleaning the plate is quick and easy: pour a glass of water or ice cubes (deglazing) on the plate while it is still hot and scrape with a spatula to remove any residue. Don't hesitate to scrub well. IMPORTANT: Once the griddle has cooled down, always oil the griddle (food oil of your choice) after each use, so that it does not oxidise. We advise you not to use vinegar or any other acidic product on your plate.
