The circular plate (80 cm ring) is made of 10mm thick carbon ground steel. Steel is an excellent conductor offering a perfect sear and suitable for all food: meat, grilled meat, fish, vegetables, fruit, etc.
By making a wood or coal fire in the center of the brasero, the plate heats from the center to the outside.
